Serco is looking for an ambitious and driven Engineering Intern to support our Global Battle and Mission Readiness division in Orlando, Florida for summer 2025. This internship offers a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on experience in systems engineering and integration while contributing to projects that impact national defense.

In this role, you will:

• Participate in technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and risk analysis for complex systems.
• Support analyses across the full system lifecycle, including concept development, design, testing, installation, and sustainment.
• Translate customer requirements into technical hardware and software solutions.
• Conduct trade studies, interface definition studies, and functional/timeline analysis.

Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must:

• Be enrolled full-time in an accredited undergraduate or graduate degree program, and remain enrolled full-time through Fall 2025.
• Be pursuing a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) degree.
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2025.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• A demonstrated interest in engineering problem-solving and systems thinking.
• The ability to learn quickly and work effectively in collaborative environments.

Additional desired experience and skills:

• A cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
